Now hiring for Maintenance Technicians for our client in Harvard, IL! up to $30 an hour! Hiring all shifts! 

1st shift – 6 am – 2:30 pm | 2nd shift – 2 pm – 10:30 pm | 3rd shift 10:00 pm – 6:30 am

Responsibilities:

• Follow preventative maintenance schedule and keep records current
• Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment
• Ensure daily Pre-operation forms for forklifts are completed
• Forklift internal and external maintenance
• Keep maintenance log current
• Communicate and coordinate project list with Practical Baker and other service providers
• Assist with Lawn care/Weed Control, Snow removal/Salt Spreading, and general parking lot upkeep
• Repair or coordinate any facility upkeep, including plumbing, dock/door maintenance
• Air compressor, air filter maintenance
• Vacuum system maintenance
• Garbage/recycling contracts
• HVAC- filters and contract maintenance

Education / Experience

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• High School Diploma Required
• Possess knowledge of machine operation
• Possess basic math skills
• High/low electrical voltage knowledge
• Able to read schematics/blueprints
• Knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics
• PLC experience a plus
• Ability to use creative thinking for troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to demonstrate safe work habits and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Ability to lift to 50-75 pounds frequently.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
