Now hiring for an Accountant for a small manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village, IL up to $70k! 

• Perform the monthly open / close responsibilities (journal entries, variance analysis, account reconciliations and management inquiries) associated with the more basic functional areas
• P&L Balancing
• Maintain ad-hoc reports, and analysis, as assigned by management, to key cross-functional areas.
• Assist with projects designed to improve accounting efficiency or drive
• Prepare purchase orders and expense reports
• Maintain inventory records
• Monitor status of loans and accounts to ensure that payments are up to date
• Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
• Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
• Collections, Fixed Assets, Materials and labor
• Job closings and vouchering

Qualifications Needed: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR Related experience
• Eager to learn and grow
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously with different tasks and projects
• Previous ERP system experience
